Discount Tire

I am very picky on who touches my vehicle and I'm quite thankful I found Discount Tire! Every visit I have been met with exceptionally professional staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. Don't try to save a buck at a hole in the wall place that doesn't know how to do things right, trust the experts and get their warranty for ongoing tire patching and rotations. Happy customer!

I had to rush in with a tire that was leaking air and made it there 15 minutes prior to their close time at 6, which I hate to do to any business. Everyone was super chill about it even though they were packing up for the day. I wound up needing to replace all my tires (which I was expecting). They did four tires with new lug nuts and an alignment, and I was heading out the door at 6:30. I was there a total of 45 minutes and felt like I barely waited because the guys behind the counter were friendly and chatted with me while the work was finishing. It was refreshing to receive such great customer service. Thanks again for the help and keep up the great work!

I wish I would have posted an original review back in March when I visited this Discount Tire -- so I could provide an update today. When I visited back in March, I brought in my Subaru for a slow leak in my tire. I had bought my tires from DT originally and got the coverage certificate, so it seemed like the place to go. The staff were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. When they looked at my slow leak, they did a quick visual check of the tire and said it was caused by the tire coming away from the wheel, due to corrosion from chemicals in the road. I was told I would need to replace both the wheel and the tire. I didn't have that money at the time, so I waited, filling up the tire periodically. Today I came into Midas for an oil change and asked for a second opinion on the tire. They did a full inspection (visual, soapy water, all that) and found a small nail. They said the wheel is fine and that the tire just needed a patch. Needless to say, I'm glad I got a second opinion -- saved me a lot of money. Definitely lessened by trust in DT though. Friendly staff with good prices on tires, but I'm hesitant to go there again, which is a bummer. Lesson learned: always get a second

Really appreciated the team at Discount Tire, with a special thanks to Devin. We were having a stubborn issue with our camper tires, and Devin showed a lot of persistence in figuring it out. Instead of rushing us through, he took the time to actually solve the problem. It saved our family trip and gave us some peace of mind on the road. Good, honest service. Highly recommend.

We had a flat tire on our 5th wheel camper while traveling through Des Moines and needed to replace our tires. I have used Discount Tire multiple times in our home town so we called the nearest one. They had the tires I wanted in stock and were ready for us when we arrived. They changed our tires for us quickly and we continued on our vacation. They were awesome to work with.
